Hey guys, the new Panthers GM am i, or just Josh.
I originate from England, so yeah, my awesome accent covers up my apparent bad teeth. Being English, i naturally believe all Canadians to be mundane and boring.
I am 19, and just finished my first year at university. During Uni, i need an excuse to do something else other than work, so when no party = fantasy hockey!
I support the Panthers and have done since i was 16. Hockey isn't popular at all in england, indeed i have only met one hockey fan over here, and he was a Dallas stars fan.
I like other sports, football, american football. horse racing, cricket amongst other things. I hate baseball.
Awesome to be here, down with any trade talks.

Well let me be the first (other than Derek I guess) to officially welcome you to the league!
Since you graced us with such a wonderful intro, I'll intro myself to you:
My name is Chris, GM of the defending champ Thrashers, woo hoo! (gotta take advantage of the opportunity to gloat while I still can! not sure my chances of a repeat are very good, lol)
Originally from London (Ontario, not England, although we have a Thames river as well, no London Bridge, Big Ben, or Royal Palace though, obviously), now living just outside of Hamilton, Ontario.
My Canadian 'good humor' and 'general friendliness' make up for my excessive beer drinking. Being Canadian, I naturally believe all Brits to be snobby, uppity, uptight and pompous ; ) ... unless you're a soccer hooligan, in which case... well, lets not go there, lol (I kid).
I'm 29, working for a sporting goods company, but spend most of my time at work searching the net for the latest fantasy hockey news.
Big time Wings fan since back when they were commonly referred to as the Dead Things and Stevie Y was a rookie just taking his first steps towards superstardom.
I also enjoy a few other sports, most notably basketball, football and SOCCER. We share our hatred of baseball, cheers!
Welcome aboard Josh! Glad to have you, and good to know that you're down with some trade discussions! I gladly take that dead weight you have on your roster in the forms of Marty Brodeur and Pavel Datsyuk off your hands!
Oh yeah, and don't want to tell you what to do or anything, but you may want to post your bio and contact info in the bio thread, so that everybody knows how to get a hold of you to discuss trades and whatnot.
Good luck Josh! Take care!
Chris

Awesome, thanks man.
You may be correct about the British (Or English), but as the old saying goes in this country, "See a Canadian, run away".
Unless of course you wish to discuss the weather, types of silver polish, monday bingo or hill and mountain gradients
Unfortunately i am not a hooligan, i love football but i don't get passion over it. I just enjoy to wind up those who do.
We have big ben, awesome parks, you have the London Knights and a small church. Im just not sure what is better!

Although you're bang on with the 'weather' comment... so maybe we ARE that boring, lol. Yeah, used to follow the Knights pretty closely when I lived there, however I lost a bunch of respect for them when they decided to name their mascot 'Sir Scoresalot' or something silly like that, lol. Guess it must appeal to the 'kids'. Anyways, good to know you've got a great sense of humor, as I was a little worried that my post may have come across as a little obnoxious... then again, maybe it did and you're just humoring me now Cheers Josh!
