Teams in league: 14
Skater Stats: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, SOG, GWG
Goalie Stats: W, GAA, SV%, SO
Regular Team: 2 C, 2 LW, 2 RW, 4 D, 1 UTIL, 2 G, 5 Bench
Minor League Team: 12 spots (no limit on age or career GP)
Trade Deadline: Date to be determined later
Waiver Period: 1 Day
Trade Pending Period: None
Owners
1) This league will be run through Yahoo and will be Head-to-Head.
2) For those of you who have never been in a dynasty league before, you keep your entire team.
3) Each team must be named after a current NHL team, as well as each minor league team being named after the corresponding AHL team.
4) If an the commissioner feels as though a league member’s participation is not up to par or is neglecting his team, he/she may be removed.
Season
1) The league will consist of 14 teams, 6 teams will make the playoffs, the top 2 getting first round byes.
2) During the season you may not have anymore than 30 players between your regular roster and minor league roster.
Trades/FA Moves
1) No limit to amount of players involved in trades.
2) 3-way or even 4-way trades are allowed.
3) THERE WILL BE NO VETO SYSTEM IN PLACE. All managers are responsible for their own team.
4) Trades involving draft picks and/or prospects must be not only posted on the Yahoo Message Board, but the trade details must also be e-mailed to the commissioner.
5) If a trade is made during the off-season, it must be posted on the Message Board and e-mailed to the commissioner.
6) Rosters will be locked at the trade deadline, the only moves that will be permitted are Minor League Transactions. After playoffs, all roster movement will remain locked until the day after roster submissions are requires (Sept 15th).
Minor League Teams
1) There will be 12 spots on your minor league team, there is no limit on age or career GP, you can have anybody on your minor league team.
2) When calling somebody up or sending somebody down, that person must stay on their new team for a full week. This is also to avoid cycling players through your roster on a daily basis. (Ex. Minnesota sends down Corey Perry and calls up Gomez, Gomez must now stay with Minnesota for 7 days, just as Perry must stay on the minor league team for 7 days). This restriction does not follow through trades (Ex. Minnesota sends down Corey Perry, the next day Perry is traded to Montreal, Montreal may call up Perry as soon as they acquire him). A player may be dropped from your Minor League Team or regular team even if they are not eligible to be called up or sent down.
3) When sending somebody down or calling somebody up you MUST post on the Yahoo Message board with the heading “Minor League Transaction” saying who you are sending down and who you are calling up.
4) Minor league teams will be kept track of on the Message Board.
5) You can only add players to your Minor League Team if they’re in the Yahoo database. The only time you can acquire players not in the Yahoo database is through the inaugural draft or off-season draft.
Off-Season
1) There will be a 3 round draft at some point during the off-season (date will be determined at some point during the season). ANYBODY is eligible for this draft as long as they have been drafted by an NHL team; veterans, prospects already drafted, prospects just drafted that off-season, etc.
2) Order will be reverse order of the regular season standings (14th place gets 1st pick, 13th gets 2nd, etc) UNLESS it’s deemed that the last place team is purposely losing to get the first pick.
3) The draft will not be a "snake" draft, the order of picks will remain the same each round.
3) Draft picks can be traded up to 3 years in advance and will be kept track of on the Message Board.
4) After the draft, teams will have until September 15th to shave their roster down to 30 players (18 regular roster players + 12 minor leaguers).
5) The draft will take place on the Message Board.
