Grand-Daddy of all Points Polls

There are so many options people have mentioned I figured this would be the best way to resolve it. Majority wins I guess. If replacing another skater car or adding another goalie cat win then we'll have another poll after this one to decide which category to add/replace.

You know if the 3 ones with points involved get more votes than the one without... it is only fair to then hold another pole without the no changes option... cuz say you get

Well that means 9 people want points in some fashion and only 5 don't... Thus to be fair we would then have another poll with just the point options involved. Is that what we are doing?

I voted for adding points and another goalie category to keep the balance. And I do agree with Pittsburgh that it should be the total votes on points that we look at, rather than just the seperate votes for each option when deciding the majority.

Yeah I'd really like to add SOG too... we need more cats in this league. The scoring is so close because there are not as many cats that it makes your luck a little more powerful than it should be.

You're right with your previous post, I guess I'll just see how many want points added in any form and then hold another poll with the specific options.

We drafted 6 months ago using the current categories as our basis for player value- what is so wrong that we need to change things already? I understand change is required sometime, but what exactly is wrong with the system we have now?

I want either option 2, 3, or 4. Anything but 1. I know you want me to commit to one of them, but I don't want to be the only one voting for one of those options, while another has one less vote than option 1.

I can understand that, but I kind of need you to commit to one. As it stands now, there's 3 votes for option 1, 2 votes for option 2, 0 votes for option 3, and 6 votes for option 4.

Up to you Derek, but of all owners, yours should be the last vote disregarded, seeing as it's your league and you're Commish. It's your pool, your vote should count just as much, or MORE, than anybody's. To me, if there's a tie, your vote should be the ONLY one that counts! Not the one that gets diregarded.

Well I know some people feel very strongly about this, and it's not too big of a deal to me so I would hate for my vote to be the deciding vote.
