Freaking blackmaling teams, or what? It should be interesting to see how many 1st rounders they end up with this year. I would say the Sharks slightly over paid for Guerin.

Sharks over-paid a bit but not a bad one compared to Tkachuk's trade.

To put in in perspective Buffalo gave up a very similar package and only got Zubrus.

I'm extremely happy with what the blues have done... I only wish they would have traded Legace high. Sanford is just as good... Cash is a good backup and Schwarz is the future

Cash is a good backup and Schwarz is the future If they could've dealt Legace that would have been awesome for them. Not too many playoff teams out there looking for a goalie though, and I'm sure not too many non-playoff teams would look to him to solve their net problems.

yeah true... they should have tried to move him earlier if anything when more teams were in the running... although they themselves had that same mislead notion. Even if they made it, it would be 1 and done.

^^^agreed. With what the Blues would have been able to get in return for Legacy- considering no contending team would give up that much for a backup-I don't think it would have been in the best interest of the organization to expose those now goalies especially when you consdier how depleted the Blues are a after the deadline. Davidson probably figures let Manny get pelted and see what happens rather than take the chance with one of those kids confidence

Sanford handled it wonderfully last year... cash was fine too. Just don't let schwarz get pelted and I'm fine with it.

I think they just re-sign Legace so Legace will be their guy next season. Sanford is the most likely one to go. He will be UFA or RFA (if I remember it correctly) after this season.

Legacy is signed for 2 more years after this thru 08/09 - at 1.8 mill & 2.5 mill. Sanford is a UFA after this year
